North Branch Farm is looking for full-time help beginning mid-March and going through mid-November, with possible off-season continuation.
Job description:
Work will include a wide variety of tasks, some of which are: grafting assistant, pruning and weeding in our nursery, orchard care, building projects, and moving hay.
We’re looking for someone who:
-has farm experience and carpentry skills (not necessary but helpful)
-can listen to directions, take and implement work-related instructions, and ask questions
-works well both in a team and alone
-comes motivated to develop new skills, including how to work efficiently and use good body mechanics
-has a willingness to work outdoors all season
-is able to lift 50 lbs
On-farm housing is a possibility
40 hours/week, weather permitting
$15/hr
